ALTAR SERVERS
Altar servers are individuals, typically young members of a church, who assist the Priest during liturgical services, such as Mass or ceremonies. Their responsibilities may include holding the altar book, carrying the processional cross, setting the altar, and assisting with the preparation of Eucharistic elements. Serving as an altar server provides an opportunity for youth to engage more deeply with their faith, learn about the liturgy, and contribute to the worship experience of the congregation. Training is usually provided by the church.

ALTAR/FLOWER DRESSING/DECORATION
Altar decorations, often involving flowers, enhance the visual appeal and spiritual atmosphere of a sacred space. The specific style, colours, and types of flowers used often depend on the religious tradition, the time of year, and the occasion being celebrated. Arrangements can range from simple and minimalist to elaborate and symbolic, serving to honour the divine, create a focal point for worship, and inspire reverence and contemplation. Thoughtful consideration is given to the meaning and symbolism of each element, ensuring that the decoration complements the purpose and spirit of the altar.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) are laypersons who assist the priest in distributing the Eucharist during Mass. They are typically commissioned by the bishop or their delegate, usually a parish priest, to serve in this sacramental ministry. EMHCs are entrusted with the responsibility of handling the consecrated hosts, which requires careful attention and reverence. Their service enables more people to receive the Eucharist, particularly at crowded Masses or in situations where priests are limited in number, such as in hospitals or nursing homes.
CATECHISTS
Catechists are individuals, often lay people, who are trained and authorized by the Church to teach religious doctrine and prepare individuals for sacraments within the Catholic Church. They play a vital role in evangelization and religious education, helping to form the faith of children, youth, and adults through instruction, example, and guidance. Catechists serves as essential links between the clergy and the community in transmitting the teachings of the faith.
